QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF AT THE END OF THE WEEK

Are you working on becoming stronger, healthier, and happier with your life? If the answer is yes, youre probably putting effort into your daily routine to become better at what you do and get closer to achieving your goals. But, how do you know youre still on the right track? And how do you know what the next best step is for you?

Here are 4 questions you can ask yourself at the end of every week to analyze your progress and get ready for a new week of challenges, new steps, and more accomplishments!

1. WHAT SUCCESSES DID I HAVE THIS WEEK?

Take the time to acknowledge your successes! This will galvanize you to more action next week because you are aware of the results of your effort. This produces self-efficacy, so you start to believe in yourself more and more and you feel motivated to give even better results every week.

When we only wait until the final week of our process to see results, or we only focus on accomplishing the final goal, we can get impatient and the process gets more and more difficult mentally. However, if we take a moment to appreciate our progress by the end of each week, we get constant gratification that helps us keep going towards the biggest goals. Once thats done, youll crave to continue to keep getting that sense of achievement.

2. WHAT CHALLENGES DID I OVERCOME/OR AM I STILL FACING?

Understanding the challenges we face during the week will help us be more self-aware, as well as more conscious of the environment around us and how all of these factors affect our fitness.

When we are cognizant of the challenges we face, we can also create strategies to overcome them. The more we do it the easier it gets.

Maybe this week it was extremely difficult to get to the gym because you were getting off of work late. Maybe when this happens you can start working out at home. Or maybe eating healthy was especially difficult because of some special occasions, so youll work on balance.

We all face challenges, the important thing is to recognize them and work on them, and even use them to continue to build momentum!

3. WHAT DID I LEARN?

Being self-aware is so important during your fitness journey! Maybe what you learned had to do with the challenges you faced in the past. Maybe you learned how to appreciate your success and believe in yourself. There are so many things you can find out, even in just one week.

It could be about the workout that is best for you or the time of the day that you feel most comfortable working out. Maybe you found that a certain food gives you a lot of energy before you exercise.

All of us are different and we have different responses to our environment and actions. Finding out what works best for you is a great strategy to keep to help see more progress week by week. Asking yourself this question by the end of every week will help you understand what you learned a lot better.

4. WHATS MY INTENTION FOR NEXT WEEK?

Once you know your accomplishments, goals, and what you learned about yourself, the next thing you need to do is decide what your goal for the following week will be. Take your experience and transform it into a new intention.

What can you do next week that will allow me to be even better? When you take the time to reflect on your intentions and your actions, the process becomes better and better because you are getting a different mental approach and you feel like you are following a more specific path because those answers are based on your life and not what somebody else is telling you. Your own experiences and results can motivate your future goals.

So think about those 4 questions and let me know how it goes for you!
